They rolled up their sleeves to help this rust belt city rise from the ashes and reinvent itself. That’s exactly what founder John Reynolds asked himself when he began creating South Bend Locals Bourbon in collaboration with The Indiana Whiskey Company.

South Bend Locals Bourbon Batch No.4 is for people who understand the importance of making something of quality with their hands. Batch No. 4 begins as a mash made-up of corn, barley, and wheat. Then it’s distilled in our one of a kind copper still designed by Charles Florance. Charles, the founder of Indiana Whiskey, had it hand made by craftsmen in South Bend. Finally, we age our bourbon in smaller barrels that are stored in the same space as our still. This unique relationship of our custom copper still and placement of our barrels allows for fluctuation in temperature that adds to our distinctive flavor.

The end result is a uniquely crafted, sweet and elegant, wheated, smooth, 100 proof bourbon that’s caramel forward with hints of vanilla. Making it the perfect spirit to drink neat, on the rocks or in an Old Fashioned.
